The research group from the Norwegian Air Ambulance recently used the NorLense Swift 5×6 meter inflatable tent during a demanding research project at Klimapark 2469 in Lom, Norway. The project, which investigated rewarming methods for cold patients, was conducted in mountainous areas with unpredictable weather conditions, requiring strict reliability and safety standards.
The tent was transported to the site by three people and set up in 5-10 minutes using an electric compressor. It met all requirements for protection and heat insulation, even under tough conditions. The research team was able to conduct their experiments safely and efficiently without needing to use an additional inner tent.
“We are very pleased with the tent’s performance and highly recommend the product!” says PhD researcher Sigurd Mydske and senior researcher Øyvind Thomassen.
This feedback from the Norwegian Air Ambulance research group confirms NorLense’s ability to deliver products that withstand extreme conditions, and we are proud to contribute to important research projects in Norway.
